GoldStar Jewelry, LLC has always been more than just a regular, typical, jewelry store. We use state of the art equipment to produce custom made jewelry.

One machine that we use is the EnvisionTec Perfactory RP machine. The Perfactory unit will make master models that can be casted into any type of metal.

So you have an idea of a custom piece. Draw out your jewelry as best as possible. Give as much description as possible to our staff. Dr. Joseph Thompson usually provides the computer work. He will model your piece in a 3D program. That computer model is sent to the Perfactory machine or a wax lathe that cuts out the model.

Daniel Thompson, our caster, will sprue the items up and invest them into a flask for casting. The model that is now in the flask is heated up to melt the wax model away. This creates an reverse space area that the metal will flow into at the time of casting. Your choice of white or yellow, 18k, 14k or 10k gold can be used. We operate a very large casting machine that makes the gold dense.

Once the item is casted, we place them through our mass tumblers and then finally hand polish to a high gloss. If any stones are required, Daniel or Joseph will set them in the settings.
